I understand it is now free, it was paid for initially. Both do not need to use the same Mac OS version, so a cheap second hand MacBook may be a way forward. If you go that way, the MacBook does not need to be powerful at all, as in this type of use, it is mostly a terminal to access your MacMini resources.

The Mac mini has a 1TB drive. I made the adjustment you suggest in Audirvana and changed it from No Limit to k. I have just checked the Bel Canto website for specifications. The DAC2. I suppose you should be fine if you setup the Audio Settings according to specs as suggested earlier. Keep us posted, All the best.

You Sir are a tremendous resource. I made the adjustment in Audirvana and as you suggested, it shows up perfectly in the Mac mini now. You are welcome, it is always gratifying to have helped someone out of a tight corner.

All it does is make your already frustrated customers more upset. Promises are usually probably always made with best intent.

When parameters change the original promise can be excused and a new promise then made. This is basic and reasonable. If the promise is not fulfilled it is reasonable to assume new parameters are in play. We wait for an update and new assurances. The Remote will eventually show up. We are all waiting. Some waiting more patiently and less judgementaly than others. To put it bluntly, if your standard of only promise what you can deliver we would have perfect marriages, perfect agreements, perfect world.

I ask you… Does this perfection surround you? Are you kidding me?? So where is it?? Stop being condescending to others! It looks unprofessional. Did you actually read my post? I explained the nature of a promise very clearly. The marriages was an example to make it easier to understand. What parameters have changed? Certainly the dev team has not communicated anything.

What goes hand in hand with failing to deliver on a promise is open communication with why one is struggling and a plan to get to where one needs to be. I think we all have some level of patience but also share some level of frustration.

Why rush if they are not ready? Why send emails of imminent remote launch? I can understand there are issues in building software or anything else.
